Pep Guardiola has hailed Kevin De Bruyne as one of the best midfielders to have ever played in England after the player announced he would leave Manchester City in the summer.

De Bruyne confirmed his decision on Friday with his contract set to expire in a few months.
The 33-year-old has been a key part of City’s success under Guardiola, which has seen them win six Premier League titles and the Champions League. Guardiola
says none of that success would have been possible without him and admits it is a sad day to see a part of the City side leave.
Asked about De Bruyne’s departure, he said: สมัครสมาชิก UFABET วันนี้ รับเครดิตฟรีทุกวัน “A sad day and a happy day because of the time we spent with him, what he gave all of us, the character he has. “
No need to talk about the success he’s had with us over the last decade. It’s impossible to imagine any of this without him. It’s a sad day because a part of us is leaving.”
De Bruyne could secure another silverware as City stay in the FA Cup, with City set to face Nottingham Forest in the semi-finals.
However, whatever happens next, Guardiola says De Bruyne is already cementing his legacy.
“One of the best midfielders to have ever played in this country and I think at City there’s no doubt about that. “
Whether he’s the best or not, you have to realise the players who played at Maine Road, unbelievable lads over the last 20 or 30 years at this club. “
But come on, there’s no doubt he’s one of the best because of his consistency in the important games, the not-so-important games, every three games, there’s no doubt about that.”
