O’Hara says it’s time for the Spurs to fire ‘Ange Postecoglou’

Jamie O’Hara believes Ange Postecoglou is no longer the right man to manage Tottenham Hotspur after their 2-1 FA Cup exit at Aston Villa.

Spurs were knocked out of the Carabao Cup by Liverpool in midweek, with the defeat to Villa meaningless. Tottenham’s only chance of winning silverware this season is the Europa League.

However, O’Hara does not believe Postecoglou deserves another chance to prove himself and has urged Spurs to bring in a new manager.

“Time to go, Postecoglou is out of control! (Unai) Emery is on a different level. His players have beaten us to pieces, we should have conceded five goals. We played like a reserve team in a meaningless youth game. It’s madness,” O’Hara tweeted on คาสิโนออนไลน์ UFABET ฝากถอนรวดเร็ว เริ่มต้นเล่นง่าย. Villa legend Gabriel Agbonlahor also had no hesitation in heaping praise on Postecoglou’s tactics.

Now out of the Carabap Cup and the FA Cup as well as the Premier League title being well out of reach, the Europa League is the only thing left for Tottenham to win this season.

But O’Hara does not feel Postecoglou should get the chance to see it through, as the former Tottenham midfielder blasted the side’s limp performance against Villa.

“Spurs have become the laughing stock of the Premier League. Especially after Ange Postecoglou said, ‘I always win trophies in my second season,’ you can tell he’s under a lot of pressure,” Agbonlahor said.

“Villa had 16 shots tonight, Jacob Ramsey should have taken home two. The chances we missed… it’s that simple. Where are the tactics?”
