Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has hailed Kevin De Bruyne after the Manchester City midfielder announced he would leave the club at the end of the season.

De Bruyne will play his final Manchester derby at Old Trafford on Sunday after a decade at the club.

Asked about the 33-year-old’s England career, Amorim said:

“It’s easy. He’s one of the best midfielders in the Premier League. Time waits for no man, that’s normal,” he said.

This rule is in place to prevent MLS clubs getting into a bidding war with each other.

By placing De Bruyne on their discovery rights list, ทางเข้า UFABET สำหรับสมาชิกใหม่ สมัครวันนี้ รับโบนัสฟรี Inter Miami will have had to prove to MLS that they are making attempts to sign him.

It’s understood no formal offer has been made at this stage.

Inter Miami already have the maximum three designated player spots filled with Lionel Messi, Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets.

“He’s raised the level of this league. He’s on the wrong side of Manchester. I wish him all the best. I’ve enjoyed seeing him in Portugal a lot. Hopefully he enjoys life after this.”

United will enter the 196th Manchester derby eight places and 14 points behind their neighbours in the Premier League, but Amorim avoided drawing comparisons with Pep Guardiola’s side.

“I’m more focused on our problems,” Amorim said.

“I think we have bigger problems than City. “

They play in different ways. It’s really hard to predict how they’re going to deal with us. They have probably the best coach in the world and top players, but I am focused on my team, trying to understand how City play.”
